One Time Story Session
A professionally planned and guided 60-90 minute interview focused on life stories, memories, and reflections. Your broadcast-quality recording is delivered in a secure format that you can keep, share, and return to.
This might be right for families wanting to capture a story for a meaningful gift or milestone, and for those who aren’t sure how much they want to do, but know that they want to get started.
Single interview pricing: $400
A deeper, more relaxed approach that allows stories to unfold over time. The series includes three professionally recorded broadcast quality interviews (60-90 minutes each) that can be structured across a life history (early life, education, adulthood, career, reflections, etc.). Family members can be involved as co-interviewers or co-narrators if desired.
This approach often tends to feel more natural and relaxed for the person being recorded, especially elders, and results in richer, more complex stories over time.

Triangle Story Studio
We bring professional oral history training — and a deeply human approach — to every family project. Interviews are unhurried, respectful, and shaped around the comfort of the person being recorded.
You don’t need to know what questions to ask or how to record. We take care of the process so you can focus on listening.
For families who want to record their own stories but would like guidance from a professional. Story Coaching includes an initial 60-minute planning session covering interview goals, question development, and recording setup, followed by a 30-minute follow-up conversation after your first interview to debrief, refine, and plan next steps. You'll leave the process with a clear plan, the right questions, and the confidence to keep going.
This option is a good fit for families who want to be the ones holding the microphone — whether out of preference, geography, or a desire to keep the process entirely within the family. It's also a natural starting point for families who want to build an ongoing practice of recording stories together over time.
The two-session structure works well for most families, but we're happy to adjust the format if your situation calls for something a little different. Just let us know what you're hoping for.

For families who want to turn recorded interviews into something shareable, lasting, and ready to pass down. Every custom project is designed collaboratively based on your goals, timeline, and budget. Possibilities include selected transcripts or written summaries, podcast-style narrative episodes, audio-enhanced photo slideshows, family memory books combining images and stories, or organized digital collections of interviews and family materials.
This option is a good fit for families who already know they want more than a recording — who are thinking about a gift, a reunion, a legacy project, or a way to share stories with family members who near and far.
